ABSENCES

Parents must contact the school before 9am in the morning if their child is going to be away from school.

MEDICATION

If your child needs any medication during school hours, please come in and sign a release form to explain the reason for the medication and the instructions for taking it.

SCHOOL PRAYER & ASSEMBLY

Monday afternoons at 2:30pm we gather together as a full school to pray, sing praise to God and share the Sunday Gospel. This is also a time were we celebrate our learners achievements, and vote on our Friday Fun afternoon activity. Meditation is Monday , Tuesday and Wednesdays at 12:40pm.

SCHOOL LUNCHES & FRUIT in SCHOOLS

We receive lunches in schools through the Ka Ora, Ka Ako-Healthy School Lunches Programme. Every day your child will be supplied with a free lunch at lunchtime, comprising of a main meal, piece of fruit and a biscuit or muffin. Your child will be able to choose to eat the provided lunch. WE also are a Fruit in Schools school.

SCHOOL STATIONERY​

Students receive free school stationery for their learning. They are also provided with a school device for learning purposes.

ATTENDANCE DUES AND ACTIVITY FEES

We have many options to support families and money should never prevent our learners in getting the education they deserve. If at any time the attendance dues or activity fees are an issue, our principal, Bernadette Hall, or office administrator, Caroline Morunga can assist. Any inquiries will be kept confidential.

ATTENDANCE DUES

Attendance Dues for the Catholic Schools in the Hamilton Diocese are $444.00 (incl GST) per year, (i.e. $110 per term or $8.54 per week) plus an optional $40 Catholic Character donation.
This is payable to the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton (it is not through our school). These forms will be included in your child’s enrolment pack.
You can either pay the full amount or set up an automatic payment of $8.54 per week for 52 weeks.

ACTIVITY FEES

Our school has opted into the Donations Scheme.
From 2020, our school will not be charging activity fees to families.
Families will be invoiced for sports fees, camps and overnight trips.
